What are the most important things to do to get your business ready to sell? Planning your exit from your business means getting your arms wrapped around a dynamic market place where buyers are both local and international and they have different needs and wants. Those needs and wants will move and impact the value of your business in their mind and as such the marketplace.  Your opinion doesn't matter so preparation for the market demand is vital. 1. Get your books and Records in Order: File your taxes, reconcile your bookkeeping software to the bank statements 2. Clean up the place...we don't mean spic and span but get rid of the junk or the stuff that can distract a buyer from a business 3.
